Growing Salad Greens Inside

September is the last month that most folks can grow salad greens outside. If you sow some nice baby salad greens outside in September your greens should be ready in about a month. However, they’re not going to last all through winter of course so you can switch to store bought greens or grow some inside. I’ve had some luck growing various salad greens indoors in a long container during cool months, although sometimes I’ve had issues with a lack of light.
